About Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren (She/Her).
I believe food can be a powerful way to reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the land we live on. As a queer dietitian, I’m passionate about supporting queer folks, families, and people of all backgrounds in building sustainable, shame-free relationships with food.
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition, specializing in family-based nutrition counseling, mental health and eating disorders, plant-based nutrition, and queer-affirming care. I recognize how food, body size, and weight have been weaponized to control and shame people, and my work focuses on helping clients unlearn these systems while reclaiming autonomy, dignity, and joy in their relationship with food and their bodies.
As a busy mom, I also know that meals can’t always be meaningful rituals. They need to be practical, easy, and affordable too. My goal is to help people align the way they eat with the realities of their lives, remove shame and marketing noise, and create nourishing routines that feel both sustainable and empowering.
